$130K for Warrior's Reward colt at Fasig-Tipton

Warrior's Reward

Wednesday, October 23, 2013
Spendthrift first-year sire Warrior's Reward continued his auction hot streak at the Oct. 21-23 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall yearling sale, with a colt bringing $130,000 during the final day of the sale.

Wednesday's sale price was more than eight times Warrior's Reward's 2013 stud fee of $15,000.

Hip No. 1020 was consigned by Top Line Sales LLC, agent and purchased by James Tolliver. The dark bay colt is out of the stakes placed mare Most Beautiful, who in turn has produced the Grade 2 placed colt Team Six.
