Into Mischief

A filly by Into Mischief topped Thursday's session of the June 14-17 OBS June Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale, with John Fort going to $250,000 for hip No. 866.

Consigned by Eisaman Equine, the bay Kentucky-bred filly is out of Simple Symphony, dam of a pair of winners from three starters and sister to a quarter of stakes horses, including two black type winners and Grade 2-placed Suave Voir Faire.

"I believed she would sell very well," Eddie Eisaman said. "She was a wonderful filly. She could have been a standout at any of the earlier sales, she didn't get bumped to June because of any problem with her. The folks who owned her just decided to sell her and that's why she appeared here. She is a very, very good filly and I understand she is going to Bob Baffert."

Into Mischief, last year's No. 1 APEX sire in North America, has four stakes horses this year.
