$400K Shakin It Up filly in the spotlight at OBS

Shakin It Up

Thursday, April 26, 2018
Shakin It Up had a personal auction best  on Thursday at the April OBS 2-year-old sale when a filly from the Spendthrift stallion's first crop brought a top bid of $400,000.

Consigned by Eddie Woods, hip No. 913 went to Spendthrift Farm. The dark bay filly got plenty of pre-sale attention when she breezed a quarter-mile in :20 4/5 at last week's Under Tack Show.

Out of Rupert's Promise, the Kentucky-bred is from the same female family as Grade 1 winners Roman Ruler and El Corredor.
