Cajun Creed became the second winner for freshman sire Jimmy Creed with a 1 3/4-length maiden special weight win on June 17 at Evangeline Downs (VIDEO).

Jimmy Creed's first winner, Admiral Jimmy, set a track record at Gulfstream Park and subsequently placed in the $150,000 Tremont S. at Belmont Park.

Owned by the Horseplayers Racing Club, Cajun Creed covered the five furlongs in :59.85 on a fast track. The dark bay juvenile was bred by Danny and Donna Brown.
