Chanel's Legacy, making her first start against maidens on Thursday, came away with a three-quarter length victory at Remington Park to become the fifth maiden special weight winners from Dominus' first crop.

Since the first of September Dominus has steadily climbed up to the third spot on the 2016 First-Crop Sires list, with $350,000 Kentucky Downs Juvenile winner All Right, maiden winner U. S. A. Jewel, and Del Mar Futurity (G1) runner-up Straight Fire all turning in excellent efforts.

Chanel's Legacy, who began her career with a solid third-place effort in the $100,000 Iowa Sorority S. on Aug. 13, is owned by her breeder Poindexter Thoroughbreds.
