Dominus colt secured for $400K closing day at OBS

A super breeze at the Under Tack Show for the OBS March 2-year-olds in Training sale propelled Dominus' lone offering of the March 13-14 auction to $400,000 from top buyer Dennis O'Neill.

The flashy gray/roan colt, hip No. 431 consigned by Bobby Dodd, agent, zipped through his eighth-mile in 10 seconds flat, just a tick off the best time of show [WATCH VIDEO].

The colt is a half-brother to multiple stakes winner Lovely Loyree out of the stakes-placed Lil Cora Tee. 

Dominus, who is standing at Spendthrift Farm this year for $10,000 live foal, was bred to a personal high of 145 mares in 2017.
