Eden's Moon brings $1.525 million at F-T November

In a Fasig-Tipton sale filled with top-class horses, Malibu Moon's 3-year-old filly Eden's Moon emerged as one of the brightest stars when came into the ring, bringing a winning bid of $1,525,000 from the Mandore International Agency. The filly was the lone Malibu Moon offering at the Nov. 5 evening auction held in Lexington, Ky.

Consigned by Hill 'n' Dale and being sold as a racing/broodmare prospect, Eden's Moon is a multiple graded stakes winner with $387,216 in earnings. Her resume includes victories in the Grade 1 Las Virgenes S. and Grade 2 San Clemente H.

Eden's Moon comes from one of the most successful families in recent racing history. Her dam Eden's Causeway is a half-sister to Eclipse champion turf horse Paradise Creek, $1.47 million earner and multiple graded stakes winner Forbidden Apple, another multiple graded winner in Wild Event, and Paradise River, the dam of $4.1 million earner and European two-time highweight David Junior. Their dam North of Eden is a half-sister to champion and Breeders' Cup Turf (G1) victor Theatrical.
