Prominent auction buyer Nick de Meric was the high bidder, at $95,000 on a colt from the first crop of Spendthrift stallion Temple City at the Aug. 10-11 Saratoga New York Bred Preferred Yearling sale. The winning bid was 19 times the 2013 stud fee of $5,000.

Consigned by Paramount Sales LLC, agent for Spendthrift Farm LLC, as hip No. 413, the colt is out of $239,048 earner, who is out of a full sister to the stakes winner Dirty Rotten Shame. The colt's third dam is the top-class Chilean mare and producer Infinidad, winner of graded stakes in her home country as well as the Vanity Invitational H. (G1) and Chula Vista H. (G2) in the United States.
