First Flat Out Keeneland colt sells for $130K

Flat Out's first colt to go through the ring at the Keeneland September Yearling sale brought a top bid of $130,000 from Burning Tree Lane Farm on Sunday afternoon.

Cataloged as hip No. 1436 and consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, the bay colt is out of the unraced After Market mare Silent Poetry, whose siblings include Santa Anita Oaks (G1) winner Silent Sighs, multiple Grade 2 winner Proposed, and La Jolla H. (G3) winner Prospect Park.

Flat Out has 37 lots remaining the catalog for the sale that runs through Sept. 25.
