Temple City

Monday, April 07, 2014
The first 2-year-old by Temple City offered at auction sold for $230,000 at the April 7 Keeneland 2-year-olds in Training Sale, far surpassing his 2014 stud fee of $5,000.

Hip No. 124, consigned by Eddie Woods, agent, went to stalwart New York owners Klaravich Stable. The dark bay colt is out of Las Malvinas, who is the dam of the stakes-placed filly Las Malvegas. The colt comes from the same family as the top-class sprinter End Sweep and Grade 1 winner Broom Dance.
