First Warrior's Rewards 2yos bring $330K, $220K

Three juveniles from the first crop of Warriors' Reward all fetched at least $100,000 at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. selected sale of 2-year-olds in training March 11.

Leading the trio was hip No. 18, consigned by Eisaman Equine, Agent and sold to Mark Casse, Agent for $330,000. The filly is out of Unbridled Appeal, who has produced the stakes-placed duo of Southern Parkway and Belleofthebride.

Hip No. 158 went for $220,000 to M V P Investment from the Hoby and Layna Kight consignment. The colt is a half-brother to Nijinsky S. (G2) winner So Long George as well as the multiple stakes-winning filly and stakes producer America America.

Hip No. 106, consigned by Woodford Thoroughbreds, Agent sold for $120,000 to Albert Frassetto, Jane Buchanan, Agent. The dark bay colt is out of the top-class producer Classic Approval, who has nine winning foals to date. Among her offspring are multiple graded stakes winner Gulch Approval, the stakes winners Approval Rating and Ruby Slipper, and the Grade 2-placed Highest Class.
