Malibu Moon's latest TDN Rising Star Fly So High was brilliant in her maiden special weight win Nov. 16 at Aqueduct, cruising to a 7 3/4-length win in the one-mile contest for 2-year-old fillies (VIDEO).

Fly So High, a $675,000 purchase at last year's Keeneland September Yearling sale, covered the distance in 1:38.54 and earned a big Beyer Speed Figure in what was her second lifetime start.

The winner is owned by Phipps Stable and bred by Mt. Brilliant Broodmares II. Through her second dam Misty Dancer, Fly So High is from the same family as Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) winners Saint Liam and Gun Runner.

Malibu Moon has four TDN Rising Stars this year, including Moonshine Memories, who went on to capture the Chandelier S. (G1) and Del Mar Debutante (G1).
