Freedom Child's Limited View and Fanniebellefleming both registered victories on the Sept. 8 card at Laurel Park, with both 2-year-old fillies winning impressively under hand rides.

For Limited View, the six-furlong allowance score was her second win in three starts. She has the distinction of being Freedom Child's first winner as a sire when she took her debut in a maiden special weight on June 17. Despite being bumped at the start, the bay filly always looked in control in her latest win, never feeling the whip as she won by 1 3/4-lengths.

Limited View is owned by John Salzman, Jr. (also her trainer) along with Fred Wasserloos and George Greewalt and was bred by Barbara Smith.

Fanniebellefleming was a dominating 6 3/4-length winner at five furlongs, which she covered in 1:00.25 while basically being eased in the final sixteenth. Bred in Maryland by Mrs. J. W. Y. Martin, Jr., Fanniebellefleming is the first foal out of Ruby Peak, who is a sister to a pair of stakes winners.
