Golden Mischief chalked up her first stakes win Friday evening when the 2-year-old Into Mischief filly proved best in the $100,000 My Trusty Cat S. at Delta Downs.

The Kentucky-bred filly is the fourth 2-year-old stakes winner this year for Into Mischief, who leads all North American sires with 24 juvenile winners to date.

Golden Mischief, trained by Steve Asmussen for Bill and Corinne Heiligbrodt, wore down pacesetter Flatter Up in the final furlong to win by 1 3/4-lengths in 1:26.77 for the seven furlongs (VIDEO).

Golden Mischief is an excellent 3-1-0 in six starts and has now earned $132,350. Her stakes-placed dam Lanai City is a sister to nine-time stakes winner Eagleton.
