Goldencents, the leading Freshman Sire of 2018, continued his strong sales results at the recently concluded Fasig-Tipton October Yearling sale when a colt by the Spendthrift Farm stallion sold for $265,000.

Bill Murphy, agent, was the consignor for hip No. 974, with SBM, agent, coming away as the winning bidder. The dark bay colt is out of Ms North Carolina, who has produced six winners, including Phoenix S. (G3) winner Off Duty.

Among Goldencents' 22 First-Crop winners this year are stakes winners Silvercents and Pickett, as well as three stakes-placed winners. Spendthrift recently announced Goldencents' 2019 stud fee at $20,000 stands and nurses.
