Temple City

Sunday, October 12, 2014
The hot streak for Temple City marched on Sunday afternoon when Lockport strolled to a definitive 12-length maiden victory on Sunday at Parx.

In the past three days, Temple City has tallied a pair of maiden winners, plus two new stakes horses. He now has eight winners, five stakes horses and over $600,000 in progeny earnings, all good for top-10 rankings in their respective categories on the 2014 First-Crop Sire list.

Lockport left little doubt who was best in the one-mile trip with an authoritative move at the half-mile pole, clearing off for the easy win. The winner was a $105,000 purchase at the 2013 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Summer Yearling sale.
