Following Straight Fire's electrifying performance on Saturday at Del Mar, First-Crop Sire Dominus got his second maiden special weight winner in two days on Sunday when Bitacora prevailed by a neck in a one-mile affair on the turf.

The outcome for Bitacora wasn't decided until the final strides, when the filly topped off a determined quarter-mile run to best a hard-trying Silver Diva by a neck in what was the filly's second lifetime start, and her first going two turns as well as on the turf.

Bitacora was bred in Florida by Brenda Jones and is owned by Magic Stables LLC, who obtained the bay filly out of the 2015 OBS August Yearling auction.
