Into Mischief colt equals record $575K at OBS June

Frank Fletcher went to $575,000 to secure a son of Into Mischief Wednesday during the second session of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2015 June Sale of Two-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age, matching the sales record set the previous day. 

The 2-year-old bay, hip No. 509, was consigned by Jaime Mejia's Thoroughbred Champions Training Center. Mejia purchased the colt for just $11,000 at last year's Keeneland September sale. He worked a bullet :20 3/5 quarter-mile during last week’s under tack show. 

The juvenile is out of Kiss the King (Roman Ruler), a half-sister to Group 1-placed As You Like.

Into Mischief, who covered 203 mares last year, stands the 2015 season at Spendthrift for $35,000 and is being offered for mares on southern hemisphere time for this summer/fall for $20,000 live foal.
