Itsmyluckyday colt rolls by 8 in debut

Mi Nieto Ryan dismantled his competition in his five-furlong maiden special weight debut on June 29, winning by 8 1/2-lengths at Camarero Racetrack in the debut for the 2-year-old Itsmyluckyday colt.

The victory came one day prior to Cohenscollegefund broke his maiden at Evangeline Downs, which marked the first U. S. mainland winner for Itsmyluckyday. 

After stalking the pace for three furlongs, Mi Nieto Ryan asserted himself and drew off smartly in the final furlong for the commanding victory.

The winner was bred in Kentucky by David Purvis of College Girl, who is a sister to stakes winner Ultimate Authority and College Honor.
