Bronx Beauty out-dueled Indian Beauty to win the $100,000 Blue Mountain Juvenile Fillies S. Nov. 22 at Penn National by a half-length to give the 2-year-old Liaison filly the second stakes win of her young career (VIDEO).

Winner of the Colleen S. in August at Monmouth Park in her stakes debut, the gray filly is now three of four lifetime, with earnings of $120,720 for her owner Two W Stable.

First-Crop sire Liaison will have his biggest crop of runners to date in 2018. After breeding an average of 117 mares in his first four seasons, Liaison will stand next year at Spendthrift for $5,000 live foal.

The six-furlong Blue Mountain set up as a match race in the stretch between the top two. Bronx Beauty had been in third along the rail behind the leaders until the top of the lane, when she swung three-wide to engage Indian Beauty. The two raced together until deep stretch, when Bronx Beauty forged ahead for the win.

Bred by Blackstone Farm LLC, Bronx Beauty is out of Forever Sunshine, who also foaled a Liaison colt in 2016.
