Keppel Bay's final-furlong rally put 2-year-old son of Liaison into the Fair Grounds 'winner's circle following his victory in his Dec. 3 debut on the turf.

Liaison's first crop of runners are topped by two-time stakes-winning filly Bronx Beauty and stakes winner Night Strike. The Spendthrift stallion has winners in three countries, at distances from 4 1/2-furlongs to one mile, and at 10 different racetracks.

Keppel Bay, owned by Imagine Racing, was bred in Kentucky by Clarkland Farm. The dark bay descends from the same family as champion sprinter Housebuster and Grade 2 winner Quero Quero.
