Freedom Child's top-class 3-year-old filly Limited View is now a three-time stakes winner after a handy three-quarter length score in Saturday's $100,000 Marshua S. at Laurel Park.
Making her 2018 debut, Limited View was ridden confidently by Edgar Prado. Sitting off the pace for the first three furlongs, she cruised up three-wide on the turn and took over the lead at the top of the stretch. Prado never had to use the whip as she finished up the six furlongs in 1:10.99.
Limited View disappointed in the local Gin Talking S., but Saturday's big performance put her back on track and upped her record to 5-0-0 in seven starts, with earnings of $237,096 for trainer John Salzman Jr., who co-owns the filly with Fred Wasserloos and George Greenwalt.
Limited View is the leading earner for Freedom Child, who also is represented by stakes winner Fanniebellefleming and multiple stakes-placed Jamaican Don.
