First-Crop sire Super Ninety Nine tallied his first winner on August 19 when the 2-year-old filly Little Miss Raelyn scored a 3 1/2-length win in her career debut at Laurel Park.
Away from the gate very quickly, Little Miss Raelyn got pressure on the turn from Ellanation, but shook her off in upper stretch and drew off very impressively to get the five furlongs in :59.10.
Bred in Maryland by Kenneth Lowe, Jr., Little Miss Raelyn sold to her owner Gold Square LLC for $135,000 at the OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in Training in April.
Super Ninety Nine, brilliant winner of the Southwest S. (G3) when he defeated champion Will Take Charge by more than a dozen lengths, also placed in the Santa Anita Derby (G1) and the Hollywood Prevue S. (G3) at two.
Upon retirement to stud in 2015, Super Ninety Nine joined the Country Life Farm's stallion lineup for a fee of $3,000 live foal. For more information about Super Ninety Nine, please contact Josh or Michael Pons at 410-879-6207, or visit countrylifefarm.com.
