Spendthrift Farm’s freshman sire got his fourth winner from his first crop on July 21 when the 2-year-old filly Little Stormin prevailed by a head in a five-furlong maiden race at Laurel Park.

The bay filly out-gamed Trulywicked after a stretch-long duel to give the Three M’s Racing colorbearer her first win.

Bred by Big Chief Racing, Little Stormin is the first foal out of Elle Stormin’, who is a half-sister to two-time stakes winner Oneotwo.
