Lotsa Mischief pressed the pace early on and then drew away in the stretch for a 3 ½ length victory, covering the 1 1/16 miles in 1:45.50.
Owned by the trio of Filippo Santoro, William Mathews and Marvin Fleming and trained by Dan McFarlane, Lotsa Mischief has now won four of eight efforts for earnings of $88,084.
This was the first stakes win for the bay colt, who was bred in Kentucky by Spendthrift Farm. Lotsa Mischief is the sixth winner in as many foals out of Saucy Countess, and hails from the same family as the champion 2-year-old filly Countess Diana.
