Malibu Moon

Sunday, October 14, 2012
Original Script left little doubt to who was best in her Oct. 13 debut at Woodbine as the 2-year-old Malibu Moon filly drew off to an eight length win in the 1 1/16-mile maiden special weight contest.

The Chiefwoods Stables Ltd. homebred, never seriously challenged for the entire trip, covered the distance in 1:46.05. The gray filly was bred in Ontario from the El Prado (IRE) mare Seanachai.

Malibu Moon ranks eighth on the 2012 North American General Sire list with $6.5 million in progeny earnings.
