Malibu Moon's Winding Way impresses in debut

Winding Way, a three-year-old filly by Malibu Moon, made an impressive debut at the races on Sunday, June 10th, rolling by 4 ¾ lengths with a sharp front-running win in a $52,700 maiden special weight (VIDEO) at Hollywood Park.

A Spendthrift Farm homebred, Winding Way sped six furlongs in 1:09 4/5 over the local Cushion Track for trainer Carla Gaines, earning a gaudy 88 Beyer Speed Figure. The promising dark bay filly hails from the stakes-winning More Than Ready mare More Than Pretty. She earned $31,200 for the win.
