Mare in-foal to Tiz Wonderful tops KEE NOV session

Friday, November 20, 2009
Tiz Wonderful has continued to be a popular freshman covering sire at the annual Keeneland November Sale, as on Nov. 19th a mare in-foal to him topped the session after bringing a final bid of $67,000.

Stormy B, a 4-year-old Cherokee Run mare out of the graded stakes-producing Deputy Minister mare Seoul, was purchased in-foal to Tiz Wonderful by Audrey/Emily from the consignment of Mr. and Mrs. Jody Huckabay’s Elm Tree Farm, agent.

An undefeated multiple graded stakes-winning juvenile by Tiznow, Tiz Wonderful has enjoyed an exceptional start as a commercial stallion already at Keeneland November. Aside from Thursday’s session topper, he has had in-foal mares sell for $130,000 and $65,000 at Keeneland November.
