Miss Temple City won her racetrack debut at Laurel going 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf October 10. Making her first start around two turns in Wednesday's 1 1/16-mile test, she tracked the early leaders before exploding at the top of the lane, and striding clear for the daylight victory. Trained by Graham Motion, Miss Temple City has now compiled a record of 2-2-0-0 and $43,800 for Allen Rosenbloom and The Club Racing LLC. The dark bay filly out of the Artax stakes mare Glittering Tax, was bred in Kentucky by Bobfeld Bloodstock. Her first four dams are all stakes mares.
