My Pal Charlie gets third winner

Sunday, September 15, 2013
Jysele's Hot Mess, bred by Spendthrift Farm and sired by My Pal Charlie, made the most of her debut on Sunday, stepping out to a front-running, one-length maiden special weight victory at Louisiana Downs.

Jysele's Hot Mess dueled with Iron Izzy through the first half-mile, then put that foe away at the head of the lane, and finally held off the late charge of Joker's Magic Girl to secure the win.
