Saturday, September 21, 2013
Wargamer came away with a half-length win in Saturday's $50,000 Arkansas Futurity at Louisiana Downs to give the 2-year-old by Notional his first career win in just his second lifetime start (VIDEO).

Wargamer is one of five stakes horses this year for sophomore sire Notional, who has stakes horses in three different countries.

Coming from fifth at the head of the lane, Wargamer rolled down the middle of the stretch to get up in the final strides, getting the six furlongs on the “good” track 1:13.54.

The Jarrett Wolfe homebred picked up $30,000 for the victory. Wargamer, out of Innocence Lost, is a half-brother to the stakes winner Innocent Appeal.
