The chestnut 3-year-old filly Rahy's Moon got her first career stakes
victory going five furlongs in the $69,750 Gen. Guemes S. in :54.98.
Malibu Moon's 2010 progeny earnings
of $8,263,821 through Dec. 6 is a career-best number for the soon-to-be
14-year-old Spendthrift stallion.
Rahy's Moon is now 4-3-0 in eight
starts, all in Argentina. She was bred in Kentucky by La Pasion
America. Rahy's Moon is out of Rahy's Darlin, a full sister to
Alysheba S. winner Dancin Rahy.
Malibu Moon is the sire of 11 stakes
winners in 2010, including Grade 1 winners Life At Ten, Devil May
Care and Malibu Prayer. In addition, he is the leading son of A.P.
Indy at stud in terms of stakes winners and stakes wins.
