Sunday, July 1, 2018
The latest winner from first crop by Goldencents came on Sunday at Lone Star Park when Silvercents rolled to a nearly five-length maiden special weight tally (VIDEO).

The gray filly is the fifth winner for her sire and the third in the last eight days, pushing him to the top of the Freshman Sire list.

Silvercents made the winning move from just off the pace, coming three-wide into the stretch and drawing off smartly for a convincing win.

The winner was bred by Steve Holliday and is owned by Terry Eoff and Johnny Evans. Silvercents' dam and half-sister are both two-time stakes winners.
