Sittin at the Bar notches 3rd straight stakes win

Into Mischief's top sprinting filly Sittin at the Bar rolled to her third straight stakes win, and fourth of 2013, with a facile 4 3/4-length score in Saturday's $60,000 Louisiana Cup Filly and Mare Sprint S. at Louisiana Downs (VIDEO).

Sittin at the Bar is one of six stakes horses this year by Into Mischief, topped by Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby winner Goldencents and Grade 2 Jerome S. winner Vyjack. Into Mischief's six stakes horses have accounted for 10 stakes wins, co-best among all second crop sires.

Sittin at the Bar toyed with her competition in the six furlong affair, coming from sixth and finishing full of run for a dominating win. She got the distance in 1:10.46.

Bred by Spendthrift Farm and owned by Dale Ladner, 3-year-old Sittin at the Bar is 7-2-1 in 12 starts, with $418,140 in earnings. Six of her wins have come in stakes.
