Spendthrift stallions' 2yos breeze big for Keeneland April sale

A trio of juvenile colts by Spendthrift first-year stallions Line of David and Warrior's Reward turned in eye-catching breezes during Thursday's preview show for the 2014 Keeneland April Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale on April 7.

Hip No. 23, a colt by Warrior's Reward consigned by Ciaran Dunne's Wavertree Stables, zipped through an eighth-mile in 9 4/5 seconds (VIDEO). The Kentucky-bred colt is out of Pulpit mare Past Twilight and comes from the same family as Grade 2 winners Ventana and Ellafitz.

Line of David's first offering is hip No. 38, a colt consigned by Eddie Woods that breezed a quarter-mile in 20 1/5 seconds (VIDEO). The bay juvenile is out of the mulitple graded-stakes placed mare Sister Girl Blues.

Another Line of David colt breezed the eighth mile in 9 4/5 seconds; the dark bay juvenile, consigned by Richwood South LLC as hip No. 92, is out of the unraced Fusaichi Pegasus mare Coqui. She is a half-sister to Grade 3 winner Voodoo (VIDEO).
