Ten yearlings for Flat Out in F-T July Sale

Multiple Grade One winner Flat Out has a total of 10 yearlings cataloged in the Fasig-Tipton July yearling sale, one of the top numbers for a freshman sire represented in the one-day auction.

“Flat Out was pinhooked by and raised at Machmer Hall, so I am a bit biased towards his potential success,” Select Sales’ Carrie Brogden said of Flat Out. “We have a fast-looking, uncomplicated colt (hip 64) and filly (hip 218) by him. Both are good sized, correct and solid. I cannot wait to cheer on his progeny. He was a beautiful July yearling himself.”

Hip 64 is the first foal out of Story Untold, a half-sister to two-time Grade 3 winner Feline Story, while hip 218's stakes-winning dam Follow the Lite has already produced a stakes winner in Miss Scatalicious.

The Fasig-Tipton auction begins at 10 a.m. on Tuesday,  July 12.
