Tiz Amore shows the love with easy maiden score

Sunday, December 16, 2012
Tiz Amore drew off to a five-length win to break her maiden Dec. 16 at Aqueduct, giving top-10 freshman sire Tiz Wonderful his 13th winner of the year. With two weeks left in 2012, Tiz Wonderful stands at eighth on the Freshman Sire list. Tiz Wonderful will stand the 2013 season at Spendthrift for $12,500 LFS&N.

Tiz Amore, bred in Kentucky by James Bates, took the six furlong maiden heat with a sweeping, three-wide move coming into the stretch, then dueled for about a furlong before asserting herself in the final eighth-mile.

Trained by John Servis for Mr. Amore Stable, Tiz Amore is the third winner in as many foals out of Ceely's Classic, who is a half-sister to six-time stakes winner Just Call Me Carl.
