Tiz Wonderful 2YO kicks off Santa Anita meet

The 2-year-old Tiz Wonderful filly Georgia rolled to a four-length victory in the first race of the Santa Anita Fall meet on Friday afternoon, leading the entire way of the one-mile maiden special weight affair (VIDEO).

Tiz Wonderful came into the day ranked seventh on the 2013 Second Crop Sire list and has nearly $2 million in progeny earnings to date.

Georgia, a $200,000 Peachtree Stable purchase at this April's OBS 2-year-old sale, is out of the Wild Rush mare Lone Peak, a half-sister to Grade 3 winner Jungle Prince.
