Tiz Wonderful 2yo premiers a winner at Saratoga

Saturday, August 10, 2013
In Trouble made his career debut a winning one Saturday at Saratoga, with the 2-year-old son of Tiz Wonderful taking a 5 1/2-furlong maiden special weight affair by nearly a length with a well-timed move in the stretch under Joe Rocco, Jr.

With 37 winners to date, Tiz Wonderful is the second-leading Sophomore Sire of winners. He also ranks seventh on the same list in progeny earnings, with $1,458,634. He stood the 2013 season at Spendthrift for $12,500.

In Trouble picked up $48,000 in Sunday's win for his owner Team D. The partnership purchased the Kentucky-bred colt for $120,000 out of the 2012 OBS Spring 2-year-old sale in April of that year.
