A yearling from the first crop of Spendthrift sire Tiz Wonderful brought a winning bid of $140,000 at Keeneland's September yearling sale on Saturday, the highest price this year for the offspring of the Grade 2-winning stallion.

The gray/roan colt, hip No. 1188, was consigned by his owner Columbiana Farm and sold to Stonestreet Stables LLC. The Kentucky bred is out of Silver Lullaby, a half-sister to Tubrok, winner of the Grade 3 Everglades S., and also Sunshine for Life, who took the Grade 3 Athenia H. The family also includes millionaire and multiple Grade 2 winner Anak Nakal.
