Tiz Wonderful colt brings $82K at OBS yearling sale

Thursday, August 25, 2011
A dark bay yearling colt by Tiz Wonderful sold for $82,000, more than five times his stud fee, at the recently concluded OBS August sale. The colt was part of the select session on day 1, Aug. 23, and was one of six Tiz Wonderful yearlings that went through the ring, all of which sold.

Hip No. 172 is out of Foolish Kiss, who was stakes-placed in Canada; she is a half-sister to Omaha Gold Cup (G3) winner Saintly Prospector.

The colt was consigned by Dapple Stud and was bought by Buttonwood Bloodstock LLC.
