Tiz Wonderful colt lights up board at OBS sale

Wednesday, March 13, 2013
The second day of the March 12-13 OBS Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale saw a colt by Tiz Wonderful bring a resounding bid of $250,000 from trainer Garry Simms, acting as agent for James Driver.

Booked as hip No. 261, the chestnut Kentucky bred was consigned by Bobby Dodd, agent. The juvenile is out of the stakes-placed mare Glittering Tax. She is the daughter of multiple stakes winner Nancy's Glitter and a half-sister to stakes winner Conway Two Step.

Tiz Wonderful, a top-10 Freshman Sire of 2012, is in that group once again for his second crop in 2013. His top 3-year-olds this year include grade 2 placed My Happy Face and recent exciting maiden-breaking colt Acclaim.
