Tizway first weanling brings $140k at KEENOV

Wednesday, November 06, 2013

Tizway's first weanling at the Keeneland November Sale brought a hammer price of $140,000 for consignor Taylor Made Sales and breeder FarFellow Farms. Purchased by McMahon & Hill Bloodstock, Hip 138 peaked the interest of many weanling buyers due to his strong female family and is a half to Phoenix S. (G3) winner Sum of the Parts.

From the Seattle Slew line, the bay colt's dam Enjoy The Moment was a multiple graded stakes winner in her own right, winning races at Santa Anita, Del Mar, and Hollywood Park.

The Keeneland November Sale continues through Thursday, Nov. 14 and will feature 11 more first weanlings by Tizway.
