Valla gives Goldencents second winner

Goldencents got his second winner from his first crop on June 17 when Valla tallied a three-length maiden special weight win going 4 1/2-furlongs at Prairie Meadows [WATCH RACE].

Goldencents is one of only two Freshman Sires standing in Kentucky to have multiple winners to his credit. 

Owned by his breeder William Hobbs, Valla led a contested pace through three furlongs, then drew off in the stretch to stop the timer in :52.79 on a fast main track. 

Valla's dam Swede won or placed in three stakes and is the dam of five winners, including multiple black type winner It's the Swede.
