Warrior’s Reward filly powers to first stakes win

Warrior's Reward

Saturday, June 6, 2015
Warriorscmoutoplay drew clear to a 2 ¼-length victory in Saturday’s $75,000 Jostle S. at Parx, the first stakes win and third straight victory for the 3-year-old daughter of Warrior’s Reward. The Michael Stidham trainee is the third stakes horse of 2015 for her sire, who is a top-10 Second Crop sire with over $1 million in progeny earnings.

Warriorscmoutoplay, confidently ridden by Jamie Theriot, took over the lead outside the quarter pole and cruised to an easy victory.

The winner picked up $45,000 for the win and upped her bankroll to $139,450 after taking her stakes debut.

The winner is owned by a partnership headed by Feel the Thunder Stable, who bought her for $80,000 out of the 2013 Keeneland September Yearling sale. She was bred in Kentucky by T/C Stable.
