Wicked Strong, who will begin his stallion duties at Spendthrift Farm in 2016, will finish his outstanding racing career in Friday’s $1 million Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile (G1) at Keeneland.

Throughout his three years of racing, 4-year-old Wicked Strong has competed against the best and amassed nearly $2 million during his career, with wins in the Wood Memorial (G1) and Jim Dandy S. (G2) among the highlights.

In Friday’s Mile, Wicked Strong will face a field of 10 others. The Centennial Farms colorbearer, who will break from post 8 under John Velazquez, was made the 5-1 second choice on the morning line.

The Dirt Mile is race 7 on Friday’s card, with a scheduled post time of 4:10 p.m. ET.
