$175K yearling for Cross Traffic at F-T NY Preferred sale

A filly from the first crop of Grade 1 winner Cross Traffic brought a winning bid of $175,000 during the first evening of the Aug. 12-13 Fasig-Tipton New York-bred Preferred Yearlings sale at Saratoga.

Vineyard Ventures was the winning bidder for hip No. 312, who was consigned by Vinery Sales, agent. The chestnut filly is out of Ibetyouwishsheknew, who is also the dam of the multiple stakes winner Possessed and stakes winner I Bet Toni Knows.

Cross Traffic, whose first foals are yearlings of 2017, was bred to 229 mares his first two years at stud and stood the 2017 season at Spendthrift Farm for $7,500 live foal.
