$260,000 Temple City colt at F-T Florida Sale

March 2, 2016

A colt by leading young sire Temple City brought a winning bid of $260,000 at Wednesday’s Fasig-Tipton Florida Sale.

Consigned by Old South Farm, agent and cataloged as hip No. 61, the 2-year-old was purchased by L.E.B.

The bay colt is out of Perfect Rah, a half-sister to Graded stakes winner Tasteyville and hails from the same family as standouts such as Horse of the Year Havre de Grace, millionaires and Grade 1 winners Tonalist and Riskaverse, and champion Plugged Nickle.

Temple City is a top-10 Third Crop sire of 2016, already accounting for Graded stakes winners Bolo and Pricedtoperfection this year. He is standing a Spendthrift Farm for $15,000 live foal.
