First-Crop sire Cloud Computing had his best day of the 2-year-old auction season Thursday at the OBS Spring Sale with a trio of juveniles bringing at least $200,000.

Leading the way was a filly consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, agent. Cataloged as hip No. 775, the dark bay went to Mike Ryan, agent for $300,000. The filly previously sold to Sitak Stable for $45,000 at last year’s Keeneland September sale.

The filly’s dam, Miss Malibu Style, has one other foal who has yet to race. Miss Malibu Style’s dam Stylish was a three-time graded stakes winner.

Earlier in the session, hip No. 712, consigned by Off the Hook LLC, agent, went to Robert Garrett – Scattered Acres LLC for $220,000. The dark bay colt, who posted a 10-second flat Under Tack breeze, is the second foal out of Majestic Island.

Cloud Computing’s third highlight of Thursday was hip No. 902, a colt sold by Paul Sharp, agent and purchased by Randy Patterson for $210,000. Another 10-second breezer, the colt is the second foal out of his dam as well, and hails from the family of Grade 2 winner Royale Michele.

Cloud Computing, whose sale average stands at $169,667, has three lots remaining in Friday’s closing session.
