Champion sire Jackie’s Warrior, whose first crop are yearlings of 2025, had the top filly by a freshman sire and one of the top five highest-priced lots Tuesday at the Fasig-Tipton July sale.

Consigned by Gainesway, agent, hip No. 85 went to Ciannello Bloodstock Services for $310,000.

The bay filly is the first foal out of Mama Rina, who placed in the Pocahontas S. (G3) and Rags to Riches S., both at Churchill Downs. This is also the family of champion Sachuista and Grade 1 winners Geri and Raging Fever.

Jackie’s Warrior joined the Spendthrift stallion roster in 2023 after a brilliant career that included becoming the first horse in history to win Grade 1 races for three years in a row at Saratoga. He stood this year for $25,000 after breeding an average of 182 mares in his prior two seasons.
